Topic:
- This month we continue our investigation of using IP technology in the media producing eco-system by visiting the PAC-12 Network operation center in San Francisco. PAC-12 Network went on the air in August 2012 providing an outlet for televising athletic events from its’ member universities year around. From its’ inception the network’s operation center was built to utilize the best technology to fulfill this mission.
- Like the network’s operation center, systems for remote production of events from the member universities has been architected around the need to provide high quality production economically, using state of the art technology. This means the use of IP technology. Our speaker, Scott Adametz will describe the systems architected for the network to eliminate the production truck for the production of member events.
